Toa payoh is food galore! Coffee shops all over! Restaurants everywhere! Food outlets scattered around! A 5 mins walk from the bus interchange will bring you to this small restaurant called “Pin jia”. The Bak Kut Teh served here is not too bad. We bought the intestines too, which i found a bit expensive. If you are around the corner you can check it out.

Wanted to head to Tiong Bahru Food Centre for a good meal. They have some famous and good food such as the Tiong Bahru Porridge or the Hokkien Mee or Chicken Rice. However, happen to come across this Bak Kut Teh store. A direct translation of Bak Kut Teh will be Meat Bone Tea. Its basically pork ribs in soup.

Looking at the number of awards, i thought it would taste good and so i tried. It is indeed really tasty! The soup is yummy! The address is shown in one of the pictures below.
