 |  Category: Paris, Pastries  | Tags: , , , ,  | One Comment

We were walking around in Paris and when i passed this shop, i just had to enter it. I know, i am a greedy boy, i simply can’t resist nice looking food. The pastas and pastries just pulled me in like a fly attracted to blue light! “I can’t help itttttt!”

They are not only nice looking, they taste great too! I bought this mushroom and potato pastry. Perfect!!! Very nice soft crispy pastry with creamy potato mushroom fillings. ANd just look at those pastas and pastries and meat and sauages and everything! I wish i own that shop!! Check this shop out if you are in Paris.

Just for your information, Charcuterie (pronounced /ʃɑrˌkuːtəˈriː, ʃɑrˈkuːtəri/; French: [ʃaʁkyˈtʁi], from chair ‘flesh’ and cuit ‘cooked’) is the branch of cooking devoted to prepared meat products such as bacon, ham, sausage, terrines, galantines, pâtés, and confit, primarily from pork. Got this from wiki =D.

13 Jan 2009 Food u must try in turkey!

This is the last Turkey post and i wanna end of by sharing some must try food in Turkey, mostly street side or general stuff in Turkey.

First up, there are pastries all around turkey. The fillings include, cheese or meat or potato. They are pretty tasty and make a good snack.

This is how the street stall looks like!

They are famous for their turkish apple tea, its refreshing and nice! And all their tea glasses look like that!

Another popular food is Pide! Its sth like pizza without the cheese and tomato base, but just as yummy!

This is a sweet snack which is really nice. Its like cotton candy which will melt in your mouth! Its called Pismaniye! I am going to try to make this! Yum!

Not forgetting the delicious kebap wraps! I love the mix wrap of lamb and chicken meat! yummy!

This is how the stall looks like!

Ive tried their turkish coffee and its way too powerful for me. haha. Looks like i need more training! Do also try their turkish delights which most are familiar with. Have a good day and stay tune for more local delights coming up tmr and the days to come!

Loving food always!
